The following specialists reported on their activities in the area of cybersecurity:

  • Timothy Dubel, USAID “Cybersecurity of Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine” Program Manager, and Dean White, USAID Energy Security Project Manager – “USAID Assistance to the Energy Ecosystem: Cybersecurity and Resilience”
  • Olga Streltsova, Senior Cybersecurity Project Lead at CRDF Global in Ukraine – “Cybersecurity workforce development: opportunities for ATO/JFO veterans”;
  • Volodymyr Pavelko, Сo-founder and CEO of the Global Cyber Cooperative Center – presentation of the organization, its main product and main priorities (strategy development, analytics, training);
  • Yuriy Kotliarov, Partner at Asters Law Firm – “Public-private partnership, involvement of the private sector in assessment, audit or pentesting of government facilities or critical infrastructure facilities”;
  • Serhii Galagan, Chief Information Technology Officer at NPC Ukrenergo – “Current state of cybersecurity of NEC “Ukrenergo”. Challenges and steps that require the involvement of international technical assistance;
  • Roman Sobol, Head of the Information security management group of the Security Department at NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine – “Current state of cybersecurity in “Naftogaz Ukrainy”, challenges and steps to strengthen cybersecurity”;
  • Oleksiy Sachivko, Deputy Head of Information Security Department and Head of Cybersecurity Incident Monitoring and Analysis Sector at Gas TSO of Ukraine LLC – “Cybersecurity. Current activities and problematic issues”;
  • Dmytro Verbovs’kyi, Director of Information Technology at SE NNEGC Energoatom – “The current state and cybersecurity development plans”;
  • Serhii Dziuba, Head of Information Security Department at DTEK Group – “Current state of cybersecurity in the energy sector, problems and necessary steps to strengthen cybersecurity with the involvement of international technical assistance”
  • Ihor Finchuk, Deputy Head of Information Protection Unit  of  Physical Protection, Regime and Security Department at PJSC Ukrhydroenergo – “Measures implemented at PJSC Ukrhydroenergo for improving the state of cybersecurity”.

The meeting contributed to the improvement of the knowledge and information sharing, had a positive effect on the unity and coordination, which facilitates strengthening of cybersecurity in the energy sector of Ukraine.
